This class has been an annual event for many years. We target bass and bluegill with these cork body flies. It’s a very artsy crafty endeavor that doesn’t require but a little fly tying experience. Springtime, is the best time to fish for bass and bluegill with top water flies. It takes two days to put these beauties together, primarily due to the drying of epoxy. During the first day, a one hour class during lunch will include gearing up, fish behavior, and how to fish these flies. There is limited space in my living room so sign up soon if you wish to participate. All materials will be provided, including thread, as well as a vice and tools for those who need them. Sign ups will be available at the March club meeting or call me at 831-234-6515.
Elaine will provide location details when you call her to sign up.
For Day 1, please bring a sack lunch to eat during class. You will not need any tools for Day 1, but plan on bringing your own tools (if you own some) on Day 2.
